Brief Research Profile

He was awarded Visvesvaraya Young Faculty Research Fellowship by Digital India Corporation (Formerly Media Lab Asia), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India from 2016 to 2019. This award led to research focussed on integrated optic devices for visible light communication systems. He has been one of the organising members of several faculty development programs, workshops, conferences and webinars. He was the faculty advisor to the IEEE student branch at MNIT Jaipur during 2020-21. He is the faculty co-advisor to the Optica student branch at MNIT Jaipur. He is a Senior Member of IEEE USA, Life Fellow of the Optical Society of India, Senior Member of Optica (USA), Member of SPIE (USA) and Life Member of IETE India. His research interests include optical communication systems, integrated optics, indoor and outdoor free space optical communication systems and daylighting.
