She presented a paper titled “Social Media Influence on Financial Well-being: Understanding the Role of Mindfulness through Systematic Review from a Behavioural Finance Perspective.” The study examines how social media impacts financial decision-making by amplifying behavioral biases and highlights the role of mindfulness in improving emotional regulation and reducing impulsive financial behavior. (17/04/2025) Sweta Gwalani participated in an international conference on “Fintech Innovation & Digital Financial Practices: A Way towards Sustainable Development,” held on 17 April 2025 and presented a paper titled “A Gendered Lens on Digital Transactions: Conceptualising UPI Adoption and
Value Attribution." The paper examines UPI adoption from a gender-based perspective. It highlights differences in how men and women adopt and perceive digital transactions. The study also emphasizes the influence of social and contextual factors on digital payment behavior. |
